Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience building and operating highly available SaaS at scale.
• Experience owning full lifecycle of complex projects with clear technical direction.
• Excellent communication and collaboration, with ability to lead design discussions and RFCs.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and operate Klaviyo’s large-scale, event-driven backbone.
• Design and develop multi-tenant queueing and processing platforms.
• Improve availability, latency, and efficiency of asynchronous services.
• Mentor engineers and participate in on-call duties to resolve incidents.
