You’ll work with Python, Go, Pulsar, Kafka, SQS, AWS, and Kubernetes, building self-service APIs for product teams. You’ll join senior engineers to tame complex distributed systems, mentor others, and own the lifecycle from design to on-call

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on software development and operating scalable SaaS systems.
• Experience building and maintaining high‑availability distributed platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build and operate large-scale, event-driven backbone powering Klaviyo’s products.
• Design resilient, multi-tenant queueing and processing systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure observability, autoscaling and failure isolation.
• Participate in on-call duties to resolve incidents and prevent recurrences.
