Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4–6 years of IT systems delivery, operations, and support experience.
• 3+ years of experience in technical engineering efforts involving IT systems.
• API Gateway management at scale, HTTP integration and API authentication.
• SSL certificates, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm) and AWS services.
• Observability tools (Splunk/New Relic) and bridging infra with development teams.
• Ability to lead and guide technical teams with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage API gateway platforms at enterprise scale and guide platform enhancements.
• Collaborate on platform enhancements enabling secure integration between services.
• Provide guidance for service design, data and transaction workflows for scalability.
• Follow infrastructure-as-code practices for repeatable deployments and consistency.
• Drive on-call rotations, post-mortems, and resilience improvements.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and identify automated testing opportunities.
• Plan upgrades/patches to minimize business disruption and set reliability targets.
