Unknown is seeking a platform/backend engineer to join a platform engineering team building systems for document processing workloads. You will help ensure customer workloads run quickly and reliably while improving model serving and infrastructure efficiency.

You will own and improve the core platform, partner with ML teams to serve in-house models, and build databases, orchestration, and cloud deployments to scale production systems.

Formación

• 5+ years in platform or backend engineering with distributed systems experience.
• Strong Python as primary language; Go or Rust are a plus.
• Experience building scalable infrastructure and production-grade platforms.
• On-call support experience and cloud infrastructure familiarity.

Responsabilidades

• Own and improve core platform for document processing workloads.
• Collaborate with ML teams to serve models in production.
• Build and maintain databases, orchestration, and cloud deployments.
• Improve latency, reliability, and scaling as workloads grow.
• Participate in on-call rotation and ensure platform health.
