Job summary

Juniper Square is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate production systems powering institutional workflows. You will own end-to-end projects, collaborating across product, design, and QA to ship reliable, scalable software.

You will contribute to an AI-native platform powering GPX and internal automation, working with Staff engineers and platform teams to drive technical excellence and robust data infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend or full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong Python and backend frameworks (FastAPI/ Flask/ Django).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Cloud-native tech with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes; IaC.
• Strong CI/CD, observability, and production operations.
• Clear communication and ownership mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent; AI fluency preferred.
• Experience building AI/LLM-powered systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production systems and APIs powering core workflows.
• Own projects end-to-end from requirements to release and iteration.
• Build scalable, observable systems and improve engineering velocity.
• Maintain production health including monitoring, debugging, and reliability.
• Create reusable infrastructure and tooling for teams across the organization.
• Advance AI-native SDLC and guardrails with human oversight.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA and cross-functional partners.
• Grow domain expertise in private markets data and workflows.
