Atmosphere is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to champion platform engineering, focusing on infrastructure, delivery pipelines, and observability tooling for a streaming platform serving 60,000+ businesses and 150M+ monthly viewers. You’ll influence how services are built, shipped, and run while leveraging AI to accelerate initiatives.

You will report to the VP of Engineering and work on-site in Austin, TX, with in-office presence 4–5 days a week.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production services.
• Strong understanding of APIs and service-to-service communication.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure and delivery tooling (IaC, CI/CD, observability).
• Security-minded by default: identity, network exposure, and auth boundaries.

Responsabilités

• Use AI as a core part of planning, building, and shipping infrastructure and platforms.
• Own infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD standards; ensure fast, reliable path from commit to production.
• Define observability and resilience patterns for all services, with safe deploys and root-cause incident response.
• Lead upgrades of datastores, runtimes, frameworks, and SDKs to stay ahead of end-of-life deadlines.
