Abby Care is building the leading AI-native platform for family-led care in America. We are hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to own our cloud foundations, data pipelines, and tooling that power AI and healthcare-grade software.

Reporting to Platform Team Tech Lead, you will shape infrastructure, ensure security and compliance (HIPAA), and accelerate development with robust CI/CD. This hybrid role is based in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend/platform engineering experience.
• Strong Python skills for backend systems.
• Experience with AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
• Security-conscious with HIPAA/compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Own data pipelines and data foundation; ensure data integrity and availability.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD tooling; enable rapid, safe deployments.
• Improve observability across infrastructure, applications, and data systems to support reliability.
