Abby Care is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer in San Francisco, hybrid work model. You will own data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD tooling to support AI-native products in a healthcare context.

Must have 5+ years in backend/platform infra, strong Python, and experience with AWS and Terraform. You will help scale secure, observable systems while enabling rapid development across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time experience in backend, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong coding abilities with deep expertise in Python for backend systems.
• Deep expertise designing and operating production environments on AWS and mastery of Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Own the Data Foundation: pipelines and integrations for ingesting and reconciling data.
• Orchestrate Workflows: reproducible, secure ETL data workflows for multi-tenant environments.
• Enhance Observability: improve monitoring across infrastructure, apps, and data systems.
• Own the Cloud Foundation: operate and evolve our AWS-based cloud environment with security and cost in mind.
• Infrastructure as Code: build scalable infrastructure using Terraform.
• Harden Environments: implement cloud security and HIPAA compliance in SDLC.
• Accelerate Engineering: own build tooling and CI/CD to move code from idea to production.
• Build AI-Native Tooling: create tooling for automated development and testing across AI features and workflows.
• Turn Friction into Leverage: partner with teams to create reusable platform primitives.
