Senior Platform Engineer

As a Platform Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One.

General Responsibilities:

• Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
• Evaluate applications to determine packaging needs including compatibility, dependencies, and configuration settings.
• Package medium/complex applications, create documentation on all work, and author knowledge documents.
• Follow standard practices and procedures, ensuring quality of all packages produced by carrying out quality checks.
• Deploy and test applications using various deployment tools (SCCM, Microsoft Intune).
• Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community
