Job summary

Forterra seeks a Senior Developer Experience Engineer to enhance the developer experience across Fabric and OneLink. You will own SDKs, tooling, CI, and extension development, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to reduce onboarding friction and improve documentation.

You will implement automation, reference integrations, and test infrastructure, while contributing to architecture reviews, onboarding content, and technical demonstrations for the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering, developer tooling, platform engineering, or test engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Rust, C++, Python, TypeScript, or Go.
• Experience building developer-facing SDKs, APIs, libraries, or automation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Fabric SDKs, client libraries, CLI tools, and reference integrations.
• Build and maintain OneLink extension SDKs, APIs, templates, libraries, and reference extensions.
• Create reusable patterns for integrating platforms and payloads with Fabric and OneLink.
• Develop automation for configuration, deployment, testing, debugging, and release workflows.
• Improve CI pipelines and test environments across both platforms.
