Job summary

RTX in Aurora, CO seeks a Senior Platform DevOps Engineer to design, build, and sustain compute, network, and storage infrastructure. You will modernize platforms with emerging tech, applying DevOps/DevSecOps practices to accelerate releases and ensure reliability on a critical national asset.

The role emphasizes cross-team collaboration, security integration, and scalable infrastructure in a large-scale program.

Qualifications

BS/BA degree in STEM fields (CS/CE/IT/Physics) with 5+ years of related work experience.
RedHat Linux installation, configuration, and maintenance expertise.
Experience building infrastructure pipelines with CI/CD using Terraform, Ansible, and Chef.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE) or equivalent.
Active and current TS/SCI with CI poly required on day 1; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Platform development, integration, and optimization across build, test, and production environments.
Automate configuration management and streamline deployment processes.
Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and agile teams to design scalable platform solutions.
Embed security and compliance measures within the platform, including encryption and access control.
Provide ongoing operational support to maintain platform reliability and performance.
