Job summary
RTX is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform engineer for onsite roles in State College, PA, Ft. Meade, MD, or Aurora, CO. You will support architecture design, deploy pipelines, and automate deployments using Jenkins, Kubernetes, and container tech.
The role requires strong Linux/Windows administration skills, 5+ years in Agile, and a TS/SCI with Polygraph and US citizenship. Onsite work and security clearances are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years related experience.
- Git, Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows administration experience.
- 5+ years in Agile development; Jenkins/Docker/Kubernetes for deployments.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph and US citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Support the development lifecycle of platform architecture design, deployment, and debugging.
- Build release pipelines for secure, rapid delivery to production.
- Lead Agile ceremonies as technical lead and participate in planning, grooming, demos, and retros.
- Automate release deployments across development, test, staging, and production environments.
- Set up sites via Puppet and Ansible; maintain documentation in Confluence/Jira.
