Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is hiring a DevOps Engineer for NASIC at Wright-Patterson AFB to build, maintain, and scale scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud services. You will work within a Platform Engineering team delivering efficient CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.

The role requires active DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance, and certifications such as Security+ or CISSP, with STEM degrees and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Active Security+ / SecurityX / CISSP certification.
• STEM degree with required experience (2 yrs for Bachelors, 0 for Masters).
• Minimum 2 years in DevOps, software or sys admin.
• IaC tools and CI/CD pipelines experience.
• OCI container tech (Podman or Docker).
• Kubernetes or Docker Swarm experience.
• Linux OS and cloud services familiarity.
• Git distributed version control experience.
• Python, Bash, and Go scripting proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage DevOps practices across the organization.
• Build, maintain, and scale foundational infrastructure at NASIC.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to optimize platforms.
