Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a Sr. Platform Data Engineer to architect and operate the core data infrastructure that underpins our analytics platform. You will own reliability, scalability, and performance across multi-cloud environments and production systems.

You'll deploy Airflow and Superset, manage Terraform IaC, build CI/CD pipelines, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring security and compliance for CJIS-related data. This is a remote US position with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of combined infrastructure and data engineering experience.
• Advanced Python programming (5+ years).
• Expert knowledge of Apache Airflow deployment and administration.
• Experience deploying and managing Apache Superset or similar BI platforms.
• Cloud platform expertise across AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI including IAM and networking.
• Infrastructure-as-Code proficiency (Terraform).
• Container orchestration with Kubernetes and/or Docker.
• DBT and OpenMetadata experience for data modeling and cataloging.
• SQL and data modeling expertise, plus data security and compliance know-how.
• Experience leveraging AI technologies to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and administer core platform tooling including Airflow and Superset.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code for data platform components using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services and data workflows.
• Implement and enforce platform security, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Develop and maintain data models using DBT and catalog assets in OpenMetadata.
• Write efficient Python code for platform automation and data processing.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
