Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Platform Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain infrastructure-as-code across cloud and hybrid environments. You will create reusable Terraform modules, harden pipelines, and enforce policy-as-code to standardize delivery across teams and accounts.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in cloud infrastructure or DevOps with deep Terraform experience, strong scripting (Python/Go/Bash), and proven multi-cloud Terraform deployments.

Qualifications

• BachelorB4s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps with Terraform focus.
• Production Terraform across at least one major cloud provider.
• Experience designing reusable Terraform modules with clean APIs.
• Experience with Terraform state management, backends, and large-scale workspace organization.
• Strong scripting in Python, Go, or Bash; CI/CD for infrastructure code; policy enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modular Terraform code across cloud accounts and environments.
• Build reusable Terraform modules with clear interfaces and docs.
• Implement Terraform automation pipelines using GH Actions, GitLab CI, Atlantis, Terraform Cloud, or Spacelift.
• Define and enforce policy-as-code with Sentinel, OPA, Conftest, or Checkov.
• Manage Terraform state with backends, locks, multi-account workspace organization.
• Drive multi-cloud provisioning strategies with proper naming and tagging.
• Perform infrastructure testing with terraform-compliance, Terratest, and policy tests.
• Mentor teams on Terraform best practices and PR reviews.
• Maintain runbooks, diagrams, and onboarding materials for the infra platform.
