Job summary

Bose Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to lead the platform and system architecture for advanced audio and sound management across consumer and automotive platforms. You will partner with Product Management, Research, and Architects to translate portfolio vision into technical strategy and roadmaps, driving end-to-end systems engineering activities.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years leading complex platforms, deep expertise in multiple technical domains, and strong communication

Qualifications

12+ years of experience leading complex platforms from concept through launch.
Deep expertise in at least two technical domains (e.g., DSP, acoustics, embedded systems).
Experience defining system architectures and maintaining traceability across needs, requirements, architecture, and verification.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence to align across disciplines and levels.

Responsibilities

Lead platform and system architecture for advanced audio and sound management across consumer and automotive platforms.
Translate portfolio vision into technical strategy, requirements, and roadmaps with cross-functional teams.
Drive end-to-end systems engineering activities: requirements, architecture, trade studies, risk analysis, verification, and validation.
Identify opportunities for platform reuse and maintain traceability across stakeholder needs and verification intents.
Mitigate technical, cybersecurity, and compliance risks early in development and stay current with emerging technologies.
