Job summary

Daxko, a company powering fitness and community organizations, is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Common Services to own API gateway and shared services strategy across the portfolio.

In this role, you will drive monetization, packaging, pricing, and commercialization, while partnering with engineering and product teams to deliver scalable, well-documented APIs that maximize adoption and revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, business, or equivalent.
• 6+ years in B2B software product management focusing on platform or API products.
• Experience with API design, gateway architecture, and monetization models.
• Strong communication and ability to influence across levels.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the API Gateway and Common Services roadmap.
• Develop commercialization strategies for API access and pricing.
• Collaborate with engineering to deliver scalable, well-documented APIs.
• Advise product managers on build‑once vs build‑per‑product decisions.
• Track platform health metrics and prioritize investments.
• Gather requirements from internal teams, customers, and partners.
• Drive documentation, tooling, and onboarding standards.
• Evaluate build-vs-reuse tradeoffs for new capabilities.
• Retire legacy services responsibly and plan transitions.
• Drive adoption of shared services across teams and partners.
