Job summary

Mercy Medical Group in Gold River, CA invites applications for a Plastic Surgeon to join a premier multi‑specialty group. You will perform plastic and reconstructive procedures, including microsurgery, with a strong referral network and state‑of‑the‑art facilities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency.
• Board certified or board eligible by the ABPS.
• Proficiency in microsurgery, including free flap reconstruction (required).
• Active California medical license or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• DEA registration and ability to obtain hospital privileges.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient‑care skills.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and teamwork.
• Fellowship training in reconstructive microsurgery.
• This is not a J1 or H1B visa sponsorship opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive range of plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures, including advanced microsurgical techniques.
• Provide consultative services to inpatient and outpatient referrals and manage pre‑ and post‑operative care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (oncology, trauma, orthopedics) on patient care and quality initiatives.
• Support departmental committees and quality improvement projects to uphold high patient care standards.
