Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Plant Support Engineer in Louisiana to provide technical support for plant systems, resolve day-to-day issues, maintain configuration control, and support Maintenance and Operations to ensure reliability and performance of plant equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program or related physical science discipline with power plant operations.
• Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering is desired.
• Equivalent work experience at engineer/technical specialist level may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve plant issues, including significant events and complex technical challenges.
• Provide technical support to Maintenance and Operations for troubleshooting equipment and emergent conditions.
• Develop and issue engineering changes and temporary alterations to support plant needs and equipment reliability.
• Maintain Emergency Response Organization (ERO) qualifications and perform duties as required.
• Provide technical information and guidance related to program bases, performance requirements, and industry operating experience.
