Job summary

Niagara Bottling, LLC seeks a Plant QA Manager to lead Food Safety, Packaging Quality and Product Quality initiatives at the Baltimore facility. You will serve as the QA liaison for internal and external audits, oversee data analysis, root-cause investigations, and calibration of water testing equipment.

You will also manage QA staff and contribute to product evaluations. The role requires strong knowledge of water chemistry, microbiology and analytical methods, with experience in GMP/SQF/HACCP

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications include 6 years in field/manufacturing, 6 years in position, 4 years managing people/projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, Oracle Business Systems, Infinity QS
• Detail-oriented with strong oral and written communication
• Knowledge of water chemistry, microbiological and chemical analysis methods and beverage sanitation

Responsibilities

• Lead the facility in Food Safety, Packaging Quality and Product Quality activities
• Serve as the plant liaison for QA initiatives and audits
• Trend data and drive plant performance against quality measures
• Root-cause analysis for quality and customer complaints
• Ensure compliance with mandated quality checks, testing and sanitation
• Monitor microbiological program and conduct analyses when needed
• Coordinate water testing equipment evaluations and calibrations
• Maintain GMP and sanitation compliance reviews
• Act as HACCP Coordinator and SQF Practitioner
• Manage QA budget, purchasing and inventory of supplies
• Coach QA staff and support R&D in product evaluations and launches
• Support plant safety programs and weekend/holiday coverage
