Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking a Plant QA Manager to lead all Food Safety, Packaging Quality and Product Quality efforts at the Hamburg facility. You will serve as the main liaison for quality initiatives, audits and regulatory adherence, while guiding root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

The role requires hands-on management of QA staff, strong knowledge of water chemistry and microbiology, and collaboration with R&D for product launches. Strong data-driven decision making is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in field or similar manufacturing environment.
• 6+ years of experience in QA/management role.
• 4+ years of experience managing people or projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, Oracle Business Systems and Infinity QS.
• Detail-oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of water chemistry, microbiological analysis methods and beverage sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the facility in all food safety, packaging quality and product quality activities.
• Serve as primary plant liaison for quality initiatives, audits, and trends.
• Track, analyze and lead root cause analysis for quality issues and customer complaints.
• Maintain records for mandated quality checks, testing, sampling and sanitation.
• Monitor microbiological program and perform analyses when needed.
• Coordinate HACCP, SQF and food safety program activities.
• Manage QA staff performance, coaching and development.
• Support R&D with formulation adjustments and product launches.
• Maintain safe work environment and support plant safety programs.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Food Science/Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering or other related field

Master's Degree in Food Science/Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering or other related field
