Job summary

Entegris, Inc. seeks a Principal, Plant Purchasing Operations Partner to join our Procurement organization.

This role supports manufacturing sites in Hillsboro, OR and San Luis Obispo, CA, acting as the plant-facing purchasing operations expert across complex supply execution and governance. You will lead escalation frameworks, partner with cross-functional teams, and influence senior leaders to improve material availability, inventory health, and production continuity across sites.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 12 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 8 years with a master’s, or PhD with 5 years in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement Operations, or related field.
• Deep knowledge in purchasing operations, supplier performance, planning, inventory, and exception management.

Responsibilities

• Provide thought leadership on plant purchasing operations and supply continuity for multi-site impact.
• Lead resolution of supply and procurement issues involving constrained supply, shortages, inventory exposure, and supplier performance.
• Develop escalation, exception-management, and risk-prioritization frameworks used across plants and regions.
• Advise senior leaders on systemic supply risks and recommended actions with data and context.
• Establish cross-functional networks across Planning, Operations, Quality, Logistics, Finance, Procurement, and suppliers to align decisions.
• Identify patterns across sites and suppliers; translate disruptions into enterprise improvement priorities.
• Shape purchasing governance within S&OE, S&OP, and related forums with decision criteria and reporting.
• Define performance measures for service, availability, supplier execution, and issue resolution.
• Lead complex process, automation, data, and digital initiatives that improve visibility and execution.
• Create playbooks and communities of practice to institutionalize leading practices.
