Job summary

Entegris, Inc. is seeking a Plant Purchasing Operations Partner to join our procurement team in Hillsboro, OR or San Luis Obispo, CA.

You will act as the critical link between the site and the Purchasing Center, ensuring procurement supports production and material flow. You will partner with Planning, Operations, Quality, Logistics, and Procurement Operations to mitigate supply risks and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, or 6 years with a master's degree, or equivalent in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related fields.
• Experience managing complex procurement execution and supplier performance.
• Advanced knowledge of procurement operations, ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
• Experience leading cross-functional issue resolution and influencing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead resolution of complex supply and procurement execution challenges.
• Coordinate escalation management between plants, suppliers, Planning, Quality, and Purchasing Center.
• Serve as primary site liaison for Procurement Operations and represent site priorities.
• Identify and communicate supplier performance and fulfillment risks.
• Partner with Planning and Operations to support production schedules and inventory strategies.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions for disruptions.
• Elevate procurement risks through governance forums (S&OE, S&OP).
• Promote standard work, escalation disciplines, and purchasing governance.
• Analyze procurement performance using metrics to improve on-time delivery and inventory health.
• Support process improvements, automation, and digital tools for visibility and execution.
• Provide guidance on purchasing processes, escalation, and risk mitigation.
