Job summary

Axalta's Senior Category Manager (Plant Procurement Americas) based in Glen Mills, PA will own a $100M annual spend, lead a Sourcing Specialists team, and collaborate with Business Units, Operations and Technology to develop and execute category strategies.

Requires a Bachelor's in Business or Engineering, 5+ years in industrial procurement, strong negotiation and analytics, English fluency, and travel about 20% (including international travel).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement in an industrial company.
• Proficient knowledge of the source-to-contract procurement process.
• Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages a plus.
• Ability to travel approximately 20%, including potential international travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement category for the Americas with a $100M annual spend.
• Manage a team of Sourcing Specialists and provide category support.
• Develop and evolve productivity plans with BUs, Operations, and Technology.
• Negotiate and implement supply agreements balancing quality, service, risk and value.
• Conduct QBRs with key suppliers to drive objectives and improvements.
• Identify total cost of ownership opportunities and drive supplier performance improvements.
