Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems in Glen Mills, PA seeks a Senior Category Manager (Plant Procurement Americas) to lead procurement strategy for Capex, MRO, and site materials across the Americas. You will manage a team of sourcing specialists and work with operations, technology and business units to optimize spend and supplier relationships.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial procurement, a business/engineering degree, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering is required.
• Experience leading diverse, multi-functional teams.
• 5+ years in procurement in an industrial company.
• Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage $100M annual spend across Capex, MRO and site process materials for the Americas.
• Lead a team of Sourcing Specialists and collaborate with BUs, Ops, Technology and other stakeholders.
• Develop and evolve category strategies; negotiate and implement supply agreements.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with key suppliers; drive supplier capability and performance.
• Identify total cost of ownership improvement opportunities and address supplier gaps.
