Curately AI, Inc. is seeking a Category Manager Site Services to lead procurement of on-site services for a large production facility in Glen Mills, PA. You will negotiate with vendors, manage a $68M spend, and drive QSTV improvements across the Americas.

You will supervise a sourcing specialist, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and develop category strategies to achieve significant cost savings and productivity gains while ensuring supplier performance and compliance.

Job TitleCategory Manager Site ServicesLocationGlen Mills, PAPosition DescriptionThe role involves negotiating with and managing vendors for on-site services for a production facility including: Gardening, Piping, waste management, canteen services and other services impacting the manufacturing site.Roles Responsibilities• Be accountable for managing $68M site services spend in Americas, reporting to the Director, Indirect & Logistics Procurement Americas.• Manage and evolve a supplier base that offers optimal quality, service, technology, and value (QSTV), and lead efforts to qualify alternate or second source suppliers.• Functionally supervise a sourcing specialist supporting the developed category strategy.• Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine current and future sourcing needs + develop and execute corresponding category strategies.• Identify and manage global projects in alignment with cross-functional internal stakeholders.• Deliver significant cost savings and avoidances as well as continuous improvement plans.• Negotiate and implement supply agreements that include ideal terms from a QSTV perspective.• Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key suppliers to advance supplier-supported company objectives, develop supplier capabilities, address gaps in supplier performance.• In collaboration with the Business Units, Operations, Technology, and/or other functional stakeholders, develop and continuously evolve a cost savings/productivity plan for the category that includes a pipeline of new ideas, in-process projects, and projects accruing savings in support of exceeding annual productivity goals.• Identify and execute TCO improvement opportunities.• Effectively address all supplier performance failures via the root cause and corrective action process, successfully levying claims, and other tactics as appropriate.• Create and maintain effective e-Sourcing events and catalogs to increase productivity.• Monitor and resolve disconnects in the buy channel process in conjunction with the Procurement policy to improve overall compliance and actively managed spend.Skills• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Engineering.• 5 or more years’ experience in Procurement/Category Management including On-Site Services.• Experienced using Procurement e-sourcing-tools.• Experience partnering with senior-level leaders and stakeholders in a global, matrix organization.• Experience with the source-to-contract Procurement process.• Comfortable negotiating both internally and externally.• Prior experience leading diverse, multi-functional teams in collaborative efforts.• ARIBA experience preferred.• Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving capability.• Superior communication and good presentation skills.• Self-motivated, service-oriented “Can do – Will do” mindset and attitude.• Strong organizational and planning skills.• Ability to travel up to 20%, including international travel.Education• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Engineering.
