Job summary

ONEOK, Inc. is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to operate and maintain oil and gas liquid processing facilities with limited supervision.

The role covers monitoring equipment such as compressors, motors, engines, pumps and turbines; starting/stopping equipment; and assisting in repairs and safety compliance. Technical aptitude with logs and drawings is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in compressor station, storage field, or processing plant operations.
• Knowledge of gas and liquid processing fundamentals.
• Ability to read drawings, diagrams, work logs, dials, gauges, charts, procedures and manuals.
• Experience maintaining safety/environmental reports, logs and time sheets.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain processing plant equipment including compressors, motors, engines.
• Monitor pressures, temperatures, flow rates and reflux rates.
• Start, stop, and operate equipment.
• Assist mechanics and others in repairs to compressors, engines, turbines, and pumps.
• Provide training to less experienced operators.
• Identify and report safety and environmental concerns.
• Compile and maintain time sheets, logs and maintenance records.
