Job summary

EPRI is seeking a Technical Leader III to lead plant operations and maintenance research initiatives in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on applying technical knowledge to industry challenges, developing value-added research for members, and overseeing project milestones to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional activities, communicating results to members and stakeholders, and guiding junior staff while expanding technical depth in core areas of power

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of experience in power plant operations and maintenance leadership.
• Ability to exercise judgment, diligence, and attention to detail and carry out responsible technical assignments.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of power plant operations, maintenance and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Apply plant operations and maintenance technical knowledge to industry issues and identify needs from members/stakeholders.
• Develop research or services opportunities of value to EPRI members that fit EPRI’s mission and capabilities.
• May provide oversight of a project team to ensure milestones are met.
• Communicate strategies and results to program members and external stakeholders through reports, meetings, and conferences.
• Manage small or medium projects including budgets and resources.
