The Senior Plant Manager will work closely with various departments, including production, quality, and maintenance, to optimize operations and ensure product quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, food processing, and safety protocols.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Oversee all plant operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and optimal performance.
• Develop and implement operational strategies in line with company objectives.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all plant operations.
• Oversee the maintenance and management of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Ensure compliance with Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards.
• Coordinate with the R&D, production, and quality departments to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Manage documentation and record-keeping processes to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall plant efficiency.
• Develop and manage budgets, ensuring resources are used efficiently and effectively.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a plant management role within the dairy or food processing industry.
• Proven experience with SOPs, CMMS, food processing, SQF, and HACCP.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven approach.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
