Job summary

TERREPOWER (formerly BBB Industries) seeks a Senior Plant Controller to lead financial reporting, cost accounting and internal controls for the Chesterfield, MI and Seattle, WA plants. Based in Chesterfield with about 25% travel to Seattle, you will standardize practices, drive ROI analyses, and serve as the primary finance partner to Plant Managers.

You will manage multi-site close, consolidations, budgeting, and intercompany accounting while strengthening internal controls and SOX compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience in manufacturing/plant controllership.
• CPA or CMA strongly preferred.
• Hands-on audit experience for GAAP/compliance evidence.
• Direct SAP experience strongly preferred; Oracle familiarity a plus.
• Willingness to travel ~25% between Chesterfield, MI and Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for both plants, presenting P&L and variance analysis to leadership.
• Maintain internal controls including SOX; lead plant audits and drive issue closure.
• Partner with corporate accounting/FP&A on consolidation, reporting packages, and budgets for both sites.
• Handle daily cash application and bank reconciliation; support SAP month-end reporting.
• Prepare intercompany transactions between SAP and Oracle; drive process automation.
• Review CAPEX; ensure ROI documentation and approvals across both locations.
• Develop standard costing from scratch for materials, labor, overhead; KPI upgrades.
• Oversee inventory counts, variances, productivity benchmarks across both sites.
• Act as primary finance partner to Plant Managers and lead budgeting/forecasting; travel as needed.
