Job summary

MITER Brands is seeking a Plant Controller to lead financial operations for Internal Supply across multiple facilities, including two in Fife, WA and one in Millersburg, PA. You will partner with Operations and HR to drive performance, manage forecasts, and influence strategic decisions.

The role emphasizes month-end close, cost accounting, budgeting, and internal controls, with a strong manufacturing and CI background. Travel and location flexibility are provided by the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Seven plus years of experience in Finance or Accounting with increasing responsibilities.
• Manufacturing experience preferred; Lean or CI valued.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and BI tools skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations and HR to drive operational performance.
• Develop monthly financial and operational forecasts and annual operating plans with location management.
• Analyze location financials and partner with leaders to close gaps and drive improvements.
• Participate in CI activities and validate savings.
• Support Corporate Finance in month-end close and ledgers, depreciation, assets, inventory, and OPEX.
• Ensure internal controls to address financial statement and fraud risk.
• Present monthly results and forecasts to Executive Team.
• Prepare Capital Requests with ROI, payback, and NPV analysis.
