Job summary

Galderma is seeking a Manager, Plant Engineering & Operations in the United States to lead the site engineering and operations function. This role ensures safe, compliant, and reliable site operations, with accountability for utilities, facilities, and infrastructure across multiple manufacturing areas.

You will drive maintenance reliability, asset lifecycle planning, and capital project input while coordinating with Quality, EHS, and Global Engineering to sustain GMP-compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of related experience in plant engineering, utilities, facilities, maintenance, or a comparable regulated manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership, supervisory, or managerial experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English; site local language.
• Experience with cGxP, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, sterile/injectable manufacturing, or other regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead site Engineering Operations to ensure safe, compliant, reliable, and efficient site operations.
• Oversee utilities and infrastructure management including water, steam, HVAC, electrical, and waste systems.
• Drive maintenance, reliability and asset performance with data-led approaches and KPI tracking.
• Ensure GMP, GDP, EHS, and regulatory compliance across engineering activities.
• Lead Integrated Facilities Management with outsourced and internal service providers to deliver compliant, cost-effective services.
