Leidos Engineering seeks an experienced Project Lead to direct the engineering design of a high-profile plant controller and broad SCADA program for a large behind-the-meter hybrid energy facility in the ERCOT market.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team of controls, SCADA/HMI, OT cybersecurity, and power systems engineers, coordinating with vendors and the owner’s engineers from design through commissioning.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in electric power industry with leadership of multidisciplinary design teams.
• Experience leading utility-scale plant controller/SCADA projects from design through commissioning.
• Hands-on experience with plant-level control functions and interconnection requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as technical owner of plant control and SCADA design across the project lifecycle.
• Direct engineering leads for controls, SCADA/HMI, OT networking, and cybersecurity.
• Develop control requirements, use cases, and algorithms for voltage, frequency, POI, and load coordination.
• Ensure design meets ERCOT/NERC standards and interface with third-party controllers and OEMs.
• Plan factory acceptance testing and site commissioning, and support project budget and staffing.
