Job summary

The National Association of Women in Construction is seeking a Project Manager, Plant Construction to lead major generation construction projects with a focus on schedule, budget, and performance criteria. You will develop and maintain comprehensive project plans while coordinating with engineering staff and owners.

Responsibilities include managing staff, negotiating contracts, and reporting progress to owners and senior leadership, ensuring compliance with OSHA and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with seven to nine years of related experience and/or training working with management, contractors, crafts, and regulators, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages construction projects from start to completion
• Manages staff of engineers and project support personnel
• Acts as lead in negotiating and managing major construction, professional services, material, and equipment contracts
• Reports project status including schedule and budget to owners and/or company
• Acts as primary interface with operational staff and participant owners
• Ensures all requirements and regulations, including permits, OSHA, Affini (AA), and EEOC laws, are followed in the execution of projects
• Leads project decisions involving complex problems and/or issues
• Acts as the project focal point for community, regulatory, and political relationships
