Job summary

Venteon is seeking a Senior Plant Analyst for a leading global manufacturing company in Halstead, Kansas. The role requires a finance/accounting background, 5+ years in financial analysis, and strong SAP and Excel skills.

The successful candidate will oversee financial planning, cost analyses, and month-end closings, while driving KPI reporting and internal controls at the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of financial analysis and accounting experience in a manufacturing space.
• Working knowledge and understanding of SAP.
• Fundamental understanding of US GAAP.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis, reporting and recommendations to support operational decisions.
• Develop and drive actions and financial plans to achieve targets.
• Analyze manufacturing performance and provide cost variances to enhance plant profitability.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Manage and own the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow to support all schedules.
• Prepare and maintain KPIs.
• Monitor internal controls.
• Perform fixed asset accounting, capitalization reviews, depreciation analysis and fixed asset inventory valuation.
• Support the annual budget, forecast and long-range planning process for the plant.
