Job summary

Venteon is seeking a Plant Finance Manager for a manufacturing facility in North Vernon, IN. You will oversee financial record keeping, reporting, tax filing, and internal controls to support plant operations.

Responsibilities include profit planning, budgeting, cost analysis, and preparing ledgers and reports for plant and corporate leadership. A Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of leadership in manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Advanced degree and/or accounting certifications preferred.
• 5+ years progressive leadership experience.
• Experience with manufacturing, ERP systems (HFM, Plex, Oracle) and related finance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer financial control for the facility, including profit planning, sales forecasts, expense budgets, AR, cost standards and capital investments.
• Compare performance against budget and operating plan and standards.
• Provide reports and interpret results to plant manager and group controller.
• Conduct cost studies, analyses and new business evaluations.
• Provide statistics, reports and recommendations resulting in cost reductions and profit improvements.
• Recommend, implement, and maintain compliance with all accounting policies and internal controls.
• Responsible for the preparation of all accounting ledgers, plant reports, corporate reports, other financial reports, and related supporting detail.
• Responsible for accurate accounting classification of all expenditures, including capital and other transactions to ensure balance sheet and income statement accounts are accurate.
• Responsible for reviewing inventory control and reporting procedures to ensure that inventory records and manufacturing cost are accurate.

Venteon Finance is currently seeking a Plant Finance Manager for a leading manufacturing company located in North Vernon, IN. This position manages the financial record keeping, reporting, tax filing, and other accounting functions for the organization. Ensuring the accounting policies and practices of the organization are followed; working closely with internal auditors, public accountants, federal tax examiners, and other financial professionals; ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization

Requirements of the Plant Finance Manager

• Bachelor s degree in an Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Advanced degree and or accounting certifications preferred
• 5+ years progressive leadership experience
• Knowledgeable in manufacturing, business, accounting and finance concepts, hardware, operating systems, Microsoft Office, HFM, Plex, Oracle and other ERP
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities of the Plant Finance Manager
