Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Finance Systems Analyst to serve as a liaison between business finance users and the Business Technical Support community. The role focuses on SAC applications lifecycle management, data validation, and incident remediation across multiple finance domains at HQ and regional sites including Irvine and LATAM.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in finance/IT systems, strong Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills, and proven analytical abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or IT Systems related.
6+ years of progressive related experience; 3-5 years in a strategic/analytical role.
Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word proficiency.
Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills; excellent communication.
Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Lead month-end close systems process with data feeds, validation and incident remediation across reporting apps.
Support HQ and US organization in Irvine and LATAM during financial reporting cycles; assist International as needed.
Provide training and hands-on FP&A systems/template support to end-users.
Act as liaison with Business/Technical Support Project Managers for SAC testing and data validation.
Coordinate communication between business and technical leads and sites during deployments.
Lead incident remediation and coordinate with project teams to resolve questions.
Drive FP&A process optimization initiatives.
Systems include SAC, BPC, BIP and SAP.
