Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Richmond, VA is seeking a Senior Planning Analyst to optimize production schedules and manage inventory, balancing customer demand with capacity and budget constraints.

You will collaborate with Planning, Operations, Quality, Procurement and Project Management to ensure schedule stability and drive continuous improvement, leveraging ERP systems, data analysis, and scheduling software to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP certification preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Optimize production schedules and manage inventory.
• Develop and maintain production plans balancing demand with capacity.
• Collaborate with Planning, Operations, Quality, Procurement and Project Management.
• Ensure schedule stability and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze data to optimize complex schedules and improve service levels.
