Job summary

Pro-Active Engineering, LLC in Burnsville, MN seeks an AT- Planning and Purchasing Manager to lead planning and purchasing for the PCBA contract manufacturing operation. You will manage a team to ensure materials and capacity align with production and delivery schedules.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years procurement experience, with a track record of cost reduction and strong supplier management in a fast-paced electronics environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 5+ years procurement/purchasing experience.
• Experience driving cost reduction through purchasing of materials and meeting delivery expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing and planning teams to ensure material and capacity are ready to meet delivery schedules.
• Ensure all purchases and processes comply with company policies, AS9100 quality system, and regulatory requirements.
• Align site with corporate supply chain initiatives; identify, evaluate and manage suppliers; negotiate pricing, terms and contracts.
• Create a planning process aligned with the master plan; participate in monthly S&OP meetings and daily execution meetings.
• Leverage ERP and MES systems to support purchasing and planning goals.
• Coordinate with Customer Account Services, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure information flow for every order.
• Proactively address end-of-life, at-risk, or lead-time changes with suppliers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
