Job summary

You will lead planning, monitor progress, manage risks, and provide stakeholders with clear updates. Strong NEC knowledge, Primavera P6/Asta Powerproject, and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a Senior Planner or Lead Planner role on major projects.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts and project planning principles.
• Experience managing complex construction programmes from inception through to completion.
• Proficiency with planning software such as Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject.
• Strong communication, influencing, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed NEC-compliant project schedules.
• Lead the integration of multiple project plans into a coordinated delivery programme.
• Provide robust planning support across construction, commissioning, and handover phases.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and support effective mitigation strategies.
• Produce clear programme updates, reporting, and performance insights for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, commercial teams, and delivery partners.
• Provide leadership and guidance to planning team members.
