The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with several years of planning experience and may hold AICP

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 4.5 years of experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience in land use or urban planning.
  • Experience in land use planning, urban planning, geography, public policy/law, public administration or related fields.
  • AICP certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on natural resources, land use planning, economic development and policy matters.
  • Serve as a project manager for the development and maintenance of the State Development Plan.
  • Provide independent professional judgment and leadership within OPD.
