Monarch Quantum in San Diego seeks a Senior Planner/Buyer to drive material readiness for complex products, manage MRP, BOM releases, and ECOs, and collaborate with engineering teams in a fast-paced, technically focused environment.

You will lead procurement against the Master Production Schedule, monitor long‑lead components, conduct RFQs and cost analyses, negotiate terms, and build strong supplier relationships to ensure on-time, quality performance.

Formación

• 5–8 years in production planning, procurement or planner/buyer roles.
• Experience supporting NPI or low-volume, high-mix manufacturing.
• Experience in high-tech hardware sectors preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain material requirements plans to support engineering builds, prototype development, and low-rate production; manage BOM releases, revisions, and ECOs.
• Execute procurement against the Master Production Schedule to align to cost, schedule and performance objectives; collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Program Management and Finance.
• Monitor long-lead-time components to prevent schedule risk; identify alternate parts or suppliers.
• Track and report OTIF, lead times, PPV, inventory accuracy and material availability.
• Maintain planning parameters (lead times, safety stock, order policies) in the ERP system.
• Identify, qualify and manage suppliers meeting technical specs and quality requirements.
• Lead RFQs, perform cost analysis, and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Establish and manage supplier relationships to ensure on-time, quality performance.
