Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Farmingdale, NY is seeking a Senior Planner to develop and maintain detailed production schedules and material plans, coordinating with Supply Chain, Operations, Program Management, Engineering and Procurement to meet customer commitments and capacity constraints.

You will monitor progress, adjust plans as demand shifts, drive improvements in planning accuracy and on-time delivery, and maintain ERP/MRP metrics with a focus on inventory optimization and risk

Qualifications

  • Proficient in production planning and scheduling.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains detailed production schedules and material requirement lists aligned with the Master Production Schedule.
  • Coordinates production priorities with manufacturing, procurement, engineering and quality teams.
  • Manages shortages, excess inventory, obsolete material, and WIP levels.
  • Monitors production progress and adjusts schedules to changes in demand or disruptions.
  • Maintains production planning metrics and reports on KPIs.
