Job summary

Fidelity Investments in Rhode Island is seeking a Senior Plan Consultant to draft and execute Fidelity’s Pre-Approved Plan Document and Service Agreements. You will interpret plan provisions, identify potential issues, and negotiate contract language with employers, consultants, or attorneys.

This role requires strong ERISA knowledge, DC plan experience, and excellent communication. Onsite work arrangements are in place as Fidelity transitions to more in-person roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in Defined Contribution retirement plans and ERISA-related regulatory issues.
• Strong contract negotiation skills with ability to articulate a point of view clearly.
• Proficient communication and documentation abilities; able to collaborate with clients and attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and finalize the Pre-Approved Adoption and Service Agreements.
• Analyze plan documents for compatibility with Fidelity’s Pre-Approved Plan Document.
• Communicate project progress and issues with stakeholders and partners.
• Negotiate exceptions to the plan document and contract terms.
• Sign documents on behalf of Fidelity Workplace Services.
• Contribute to process improvements and company initiatives.
