Fidelity Investments in Rhode Island is seeking a Senior Plan Consultant to draft and execute Fidelity’s Pre-Approved Plan Document and Service Agreements. You will interpret plan provisions, identify potential issues, and negotiate contract language with employers, consultants, or attorneys.
This role requires strong ERISA knowledge, DC plan experience, and excellent communication. Onsite work arrangements are in place as Fidelity transitions to more in-person roles.
Note: Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.
As a Senior Plan Consultant (PC), we draft and execute Fidelity’s Pre-Approved Plan Document. We interpret plan provisions from outside plan documents and recognize potential issues in document and operational integrity. We also complete the contract (Service Agreement) between the client and Fidelity. During this process, the PC may need to negotiate the contract language.
We are part of the Workplace Investing Implementation group. We work on conversions and corporate actions for plans in all market segments using the Fidelity Pre-Approved Plan Document. We work directly with employers, consultants, advisors, attorneys, and internal business partners. Our success mitigates risk for the client and Fidelity.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
