Qualifications

• Strong labor and employment law expertise.
• Advanced litigation skills including case strategy, research, drafting pleadings and motions, and managing discovery.
• Negotiation and advisory skills for severance, non-compete issues, executive compensation, and pre-litigation dispute resolution.
• Client-facing skills including clear communication, counseling at all seniority levels, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with distributed teammates.
• Active New York and/or California bar admission (additional admissions are a plus).
• Several years of progressively responsible plaintiff-side employment law experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead complex employment litigation and counseling matters from intake through resolution.
• Evaluate potential cases, conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage discovery, including depositions and written discovery; handle negotiations, mediations, and court appearances.
• Develop case strategies and advise clients on severance agreements, non-compete issues, and executive compensation.
• Collaborate with colleagues on high-impact matters and contribute to firm-wide best practices.
