Job summary

The Tulalip Tribes is seeking a Lead Placement Specialist to supervise the Placement team and deliver culturally grounded placement and caregiver support services in accordance with Tulalip Tribal Code and grant requirements.

The role includes overseeing placement operations, coordination of transportation and visitation, staff supervision, documentation, and collaboration with social workers and community partners to ensure placement stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, Behavioral Health, or related field.
• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) preferred.
• Two (2) years of professional experience in child welfare, placement, caregiver support, or related field.
• Two (2) years of computer experience using Microsoft Office programs.
• One (1) year of supervisory responsibilities, building teams.
• Experience using case management/document management systems such as Hemaiya.

Responsibilities

• Oversee placement operations and caregiver support services.
• Provide supervision of placement staff and ensure program compliance.
• Coordinate transportation, visitation, respite, and documentation activities.
• Collaborate with Social Workers, Tribal programs, caregivers, and partners to promote placement stability.
• May perform direct placement duties to support staff coverage and emergencies.
