Job summary

The Tulalip Tribes are seeking a Lead Placement Specialist to supervise the Placement team and lead the delivery of culturally grounded placement, caregiver support, and youth services in accordance with the Tulalip Tribal Code and grant requirements.

The role involves overseeing placement operations, supervising staff, documenting activities, and coordinating with social workers and partners to ensure placement stability and high-quality support for children, kinship, and foster families.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, Behavioral Health, or a related field.
  • MSW preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Placement team and deliver placement, caregiver support, and youth support services.
  • Provide operational oversight of placement, caregiver support, case aid, transportation, visitation, respite, documentation, and related placement services.
  • Supervise placement staff and monitor services; document, bill, report, and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with Social Workers, Tribal programs, caregivers, and community partners to promote placement stability and caregiver support.
