Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a PL/SQL Developer for our New York, NY hybrid role (Tue/Wed/Thu in office). This 6-month engagement focuses on PL/SQL proficiency and shell scripting to support critical business applications.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PL/SQL (Oracle) experience, strong shell scripting skills, and a solid understanding of OOP and design patterns. Collaboration with QA, DevOps, and product teams will be key to success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional PL/SQL (Oracle) experience.
• Strong shell scripting experience (Bash, KornShell, or similar).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Develop, enhance, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.
• Create, update, and maintain shell scripts for automation, deployment, and system monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Management.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application performance issues.
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance throughout the development lifecycle.
