Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Junior/Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer in Jersey City, NJ. The role requires 3+ years for junior and 7+ years for senior levels, with Day One onsite and hybrid work arrangement.

You will develop complex database objects, perform ETL with Python, and optimize performance across large data sets while ensuring data quality and timely reporting. Responsibilities include designing data models, automating batch jobs with Unix scripts, and remediating issues in interfaces.

Qualifications

• Create Oracle procedures, functions, triggers and packages using Oracle 11g/12.
• ETL processing with Python, Oracle Unix Batch ETL and real-time stream processing.
• QA for assigned tasks and data processing workflows.
• Load large datasets from multiple vendors with data cleansing and transformations.
• Work on performance tuning for SQL/PLSQL objects and build optimized ones.
• Create Unix shell scripts to automate batch job processing and reporting.
• Design logical and physical data models and analyze dependencies and risks.
• Develop and maintain technical specifications, data mappings and change request docs.
• Write complex queries to identify issues when interfaces fail and remediate.
• Automate flat-file loading to Oracle using SQL Loader and create control files.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL objects and consider performance implications.
• Automate batch processing and reporting with Unix shell scripts.
• Analyze data flows from UI to DB and ensure end-to-end integrity.
